Meet the Author,
Niki Dewart
Who are you?
I have always loved this question—and feared it. Just as an answer takes shape, you realize there is something more, something deeper, just out of view. If your response is too neat, surely there is another layer restlessly waiting to be revealed. You begin to pull the thread, fearing that the whole plot may come unraveled. You cannot help yourself. Your soul is nudging you into the unknown, toward the wildest and truest expression of yourself.
Who is Niki Dewart, really?
I am an unabashed lover of Mystery. I bow to the land and other-than-human world for soul-furthering inspiration. Tracking awe, I write books, design sacred spaces, and lead retreats. I am also passionate about guiding others into alignment with their creative purpose in order to live a more inspired life. Working with deep listening, intuition, beauty, ritual, and nature, I support my clients to tap their inner knowing and connect with their deeper intentions.
This is a book I co-authored, check it out here ->
“Take a vow not to abandon yourself or forsake what you know in your bones to be true.”
– The Wild & Sacred Feminine Deck
My own journey has taken a meandering course.
Along the way I have gathered the wisdom and experience I now get to share. Upon graduating from Duke University with a degree in art history, I moved to Amsterdam on a Fulbright Scholarship where I fell in love with the intersection of the material and spiritual worlds. I returned stateside to complete an MA in art and ritual at Brown University, work as a museum curator, guide rites of passage, and lead international pilgrimages before delving into motherhood and my writing career.
What do I now know about myself?
I strive to live an inspired life, one that is less head, more stone, bone, and soul. I know that when I align my intentions and actions with creating, loving, and learning, my story unfolds with depth and nuance—and so can yours. And I believe that each of us is a wild and sacred expression of the divine. My work is to bring this unique gift forth.
